A Sound Bath is a deeply-immersive, full-body listening experience that intentionally uses sound frequencies to invite gentle yet powerful therapeutic and restorative processes to nurture the mind and body. This is like a massage with sound.
Some tips to make the most of your experience:
Be well hydrated and have water or herbal tea nearby (this helps energy flow easier)
Wear comfortable clothes
Sit or lie down somewhere that is most comfortable for you
Set aside the entire 1.5 hours to be fully engaged somewhere you are the least likely to be disturbed
Wear earbuds/headphones if possible
Have a blanket nearby in case you get chilly (some people experience temperature changes)
Have a notebook handy for after if you’d like to write down notes about your experience
Use whatever else will help you feel more connected and relaxed
What to expect: First, we will all log in and I can answer any questions you might have. Then you will get comfortable, turn off your camera, and mute your mic to limit distractions. You may want to set some intentions for mind, body, and/or spirit healing. I’ll guide you through a meditation and play a variety of healing instruments while you bathe in the sound. This part will last about an hour and then I’ll bring you back and we can share what we experienced if you’d like to.
